A specialist opportunity within a long relationship

Elevate grew out of our ongoing relationship with Mayflex / Excel Networking. We were brought in by the Chief Executive to work at board level: review the position, identify gaps and explore where the business could go next.

The opportunity was a dedicated data-centre infrastructure offer, including the needs emerging around AI-focused environments. The challenge was to give existing capability a specialist market position while keeping the wider offer clear for established customers.

Discovery with the people inside

Workshops and meetings with leadership and internal teams brought the issues into the open. Together, we questioned assumptions and identified what needed testing before developing the brand.

Research into operators, consultants and integrators explored evolving infrastructure requirements. It informed a messaging framework around speed, power, flexibility and long-term adaptability. We reviewed the findings with the teams to agree a direction grounded in their expertise and resources.

A focused proposition, backed by Excel

Elevate needed a distinct specialist identity while retaining the credibility of Excel’s experience. The brand structure gave the specialist offer its own focus within the wider business.

From that foundation, we developed the name, positioning and visual identity, expressed through “Future Faster”. The purpose was a clear proposition for critical digital environments, rather than a one-size-fits-all message.

Strategy carried into delivery

We carried the agreed direction into naming, messaging, visual identity and launch materials, working with internal teams to make the framework practical to use.

The documented outcome is a defined data-centre brand and design system. The available material does not quantify sales, market share or financial returns.
