University of Birmingham, like many large organisations, had become a little lost in its own complexity. No unified application of its brand vision meant communications and promotional materials had become disparate and disjointed, and the institution was relying on its reputation to attract new students and commercial partners.

We understand brand. And so drawing on our long-standing relationship with the University, we acted as a strategic partner, supporting internal creative teams by first helping them to get to grips with their new brand. And then ensuring they could effectively apply it across the board.

With literally hundreds of brand assets and pieces of collateral to be created – from literature to learning spaces – we became the University’s brand partner; creating and rolling-out key campaign materials while refining clear design guidelines and carefully controlled processes to benchmark the quality and direction of others.
